Ater Mentis Photography

Ater Mentis Photography is the name of my photography project. I chose this name because its a Latin phrase describing how I look at photography. “Dark thoughts” or “Thinking In Shadows” is how I am able to let my photographs pop out from the rest, it determines the atmosphere and tone of an image and creates a story of mysteries and intrigue for it’s viewer.

The Photographer

I’m a self-educated photographer. Even as a kid I’ve been intrigued by the camera and it’s magical ability to capture moments, memories and emotions that could change our lives. At young age I learned the secrets of the darkroom and wanted to explore what else i could do. My world of creativity truly opened by getting my first real DSLR and since I’ve been determined to get better and excel in capturing life changing images along the way.

Various examples of my work can be found in the Portfolio part of this website. I am intrigued by Photography in all it’s facets. That’s why I chose to not bind myself to one style but try to let the emotion of the moment speak to me.
